Shy...

This silverback was hiding behind a large rock. I stood there for a good 5 minutes, aiming... finally, the moment came where he peeked around the rock, and I started shooting.

I dig it... Despite the fact that I was a good 50 yards away, the shot has a bit of an intimate feel to it. Just wish it didn't have the vegetation in the way!

I have to say, I never thought much of the 70-200 L IS as a wildlife lens. But I got some really nice pics with it this trip!
